Tyrion Lannister may be small, but he is full of wisdom.  Of all the characters, he is definitely my favorite because he is tactical, witty and wise all at the same time.  Here are 5 amazing quotes by Tyrion that are truly frame worthy:

If you have read my previous post, you already know that I am the designated GoT food specialist for the upcoming premier party.  And thanks to Tyrion’s quotes, I started to research into wines that we can serve at our party.  It was a fruitful search because I discovered an Australian company called The Wines of Westeros that produces 12 bottles of wine (6 red and 6 white) with each bottle representing a house in GoT.  Unfortunately, I also found out that you have to pre-order months ahead to get your GoT wines ready for the premier this Sunday. =(

So here are the beautifully designed wines that won’t make it to my premier party, but hopefully next time.

Luckily, living in San Francisco, there is no shortage of amazing local wines.  For the premier party, we are planning to serve beef barley stew with Cabernet Sauvignon and honey roasted chicken with Pinot Noir.  According to the GoT-inspired wines above, drinking Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir means we will be rooting for House Martell, the White Walkers, the Wildlings, House Arryn, House Greyjoy and House Stark!  While that may seem like a lot of Houses, given the unusually high mortality rate in the GoT, I think we need all the Houses we can get!
