When it’s beautiful outside, you just have to take advantage of it.

Today I decided to take a walk to the beach that is about an hour from where I live.  When I finally got there, the water was glistening and the sky had just the right amount of whip-cream clouds for the perfect picture opp.   And being a doodler, I couldn’t resist the temptation to draw on the smooth, powdery sand.  As my finger ran through the sand, it made me feel like a little kid again!

When I looked far out into the ocean, it made me think of my parents.  If only I could see far enough, they would be right across the ocean on the beautiful Formosa island.  I wish I could just call out and they would hear me on this side.  Going to call them tonight to see how they are doing.
