What are Kalettes?

Kalettes are THE celebrity vegetable baby of 2015!  They are a crossbreed of brussels sprouts and kale.

Taste: leafy like kale but taste milder than brussels sprouts.

Special highlights: purple stalk, and packed with Vitamin C and K

Preparation: roast, stir-fry, steam, grill, or raw.

Season: Fall, but since they are the vegetable of 2015, you will probably find them year round.

Other names: flower sprouts
